How do I use Dermatix®?

Using Dermatix® is quick and easy. You will observe improvement of your scar if you will diligently comply with the proper application instructions below. Remember that you don't need to apply much if you follow these steps:

Apply Dermatix® twice daily (morning and evening)*.

* A 7g tube of Dermatix® will last for one month, while a 15g tube will last for two months on a 6 x .05–inch scar. For smaller scars, the tube will last longer accordingly.

1 Dermatix® must only be applied on dry, intact skin. If you have a scar from surgery, ensure that the wound has healed first before applying Dermatix®. This is typically 10-14 days after surgery.

Clean the area with mild soap and water. Pat dry after cleansing.

2 Place a pea-size amount at the tip of the scar and gently spread thinly over the whole affected area. A pea-size amount is sufficient to cover a 6-inch scar.

3 Allow to dry for a few minutes. Once dry, Dermatix® may be covered with cosmetics or sunscreen. If drying time takes longer**, it only means that you have applied too much. Applying too much does not increase its efficacy, so don't over use.

Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes.
