What scars can Dermatix® be used on?

Dermatix works best on elevated scars (hypertrophic and keloid not older than 2 years), after the wound has healed and closed. These may include scars resulting from surgery, burns, cuts, accidents, scratches, insect bites, etc.

Scars resulting from these incidences may become large, thick, dry, elevated and can be dark or red in appearance and may be itchy or painful.

Dermatix® has been proven effective for the treatment of scars in a great number of studies. However, it is not indicated for the treatment of depressed scars, such as those resulting from acne or chickenpox.
